Akismet is a Wordpress plugin that looks for comment spam in blogs, moves the spam into different comment folder and then deletes the spam.

For the first time in a while, I did not have to deal with any comment spam today. Yea!

I understand you can use Akismet even if you are not using Wordpress for your blog.
